This month we welcome two new lab members!
Katharina joins us for her PhD and will be working on conformational changes and how they contribute to spliceosome activation. Patricia is joining the team as a technician and we are very happy to have her.

We said goodbye to our Erasmus student Jone who stayed with us for four months for her Bachelor thesis with a pizza lunch.

Aganya returns after a brief practicum at the start of the year for her Master thesis in the lab! Welcome back!
15-18 April 2026
Our lab was kindly invited to the lab retreat of the Müller-McNicoll and Stanek lab. We had a fantastic time in Cheb discussing all kinds of projects revolving around splicing, nuclear bodies and snRNPs! (And of course also exploring the town and castle.)
